The city will remember the tragic events of the Titanic sinking with A Night to Remember - a Titanic Belfast event between April 14-15.

And hot off the back of the poignant remembrance, another major city event will be on hand to

Belfast Cocktail Week, starting on April 17, will pay homage to the tragic happenings of 1912 with a special-named cocktail.

Local bar, Char + Mash, will offer the Titanic Twist as part of the 10-day extravaganza that will welcome visitors and locals alike to let their hair down and enjoy signature cocktail and mocktails days after the momentous 114th anniversary.

Numbers visiting the city are expected to be higher than ever this year. The Titanic exhibition continues to draw international visitors with over 85% of visitors coming from outside Northern Ireland.

A Night to Remember will feature a 90-minute tour, guest speaker experiences and a memorial candle-lighting ceremony at 11.40pm on the slipways on April 14 followed by a beautiful service at the Titanic Memorial Garden at Belfast City Hall on April 15 at 12 noon on behalf of Belfast City Council and the Belfast Titanic Society.

Char + Mash’s Titanic Twist is described as a ‘lush, tropical escape in a glass’ blending smooth, creamy coconut with a vibrant medley of fresh fruit flavours. Notes of ripe pineapple, juicy mango, and a hint of citrus create a perfectly balanced sip that’s both refreshing and indulgent. Lightly sweet with a silky finish, it’s the ultimate getaway treat.

And as the weather warms up, it’s an ideal pre-summer starter, helping to combine remembering the past as well as looking forward to brighter days to come.

There’s a mocktail version available, too.
