The Belfast Giants are pleased to confirm the signing of 26-year-old Kaleb Pearson for the 2026/27 season.
The Ontario-born forward joins the Giants following two successful seasons in the ECHL and AHL, during which he recorded 74 total points in 87 games for the Idaho Steelheads and Texas Stars. Pearson had a particularly successful 2025/26 campaign with the Steelheads, contributing 52 points in 61 appearances and finishing the season as the team’s joint second points scorer.
Adam Keefe, Head Coach of the Belfast Giants, said: “Kaleb is a pure goalscorer who plays the game with some real passion – he loves to win, and hates to lose. Kaleb will fit perfectly with how we like to do things here in Belfast and arrives with high praise from former Giant, Jeff Baum, who played with Kaleb in Idaho.”
Before turning professional in the 2024/25 season, Pearson played four seasons of USports hockey for the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown between 2021 and 2025, posting 95 total points in 99 appearances for the Panthers.
